These are the instructions to install and use gloCOM GO 6. If your account has been setup to use gloCOM, you will have received an email similar to the following containing your login information.
Download and Install
Links are provided in the email to download from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. If those links do not work on your device, then you may also search for "gloCOM GO 6" on the app store for your phone.
After gloCOM GO has been installed, run gloCOM and you will be presented with the login page. From the email you received, enter the user name into the email field and the gloCOM Password into the password field. You may also scan the QR Code that was attached to the email with the Scan QR Code link on the login page.
You must also enter the Login Server Address as provided in the email. On iPhone, this is called Host (Domain).
Android Login
When all fields are entered, press the Login button or press Enter.
Using gloCOM GO
When you are logged in to gloCOM GO, it will act as your extension in the office where ever you go. Incoming calls will ring to the app rather than your cell phone and it has it's own dialer to make outgoing calls from your extension. So you can call other people in the office by their extension or call out with your business phone number.
The following screenshots are from Android, however the iPhone screens are similar.
The bottom of the screen has links to other pages with additional information and functionality.
The Dashboard provides some call statistics and allows you to easily enable and disable features of your phone. You may turn on blocking of your Caller ID, setup your Call Forwarding, turn on/off Do Not Disturb, and if you have multiple caller ID's setup, you may change the caller ID of your phone calls.
The Directory provides a list of other people in the office to allow dialing them quickly. You may also give it access to your phone's contact list.
Conferences allows you to setup and join Conference calls on your system.
The Voicemail page will show you a list of your voicemails and allow you to listen to them directly.
Pressing the menu button (triple line on top left on Android, triple dot on bottom right on iPhone) will allow you to enter the Settings page and Quit.
The Settings page allows you to update your ringtone for gloCOM GO as well as other settings.
On a call
While on a call, you will have options to Mute, change audio (bluetooth, speaker), put the call on Hold, Invite someone else to create a conference, or go back to the keypad. The options button will give you the option to Transfer the call, Switch to another device (desk phone or gloCOM desktop), or start recording the call.
Quitting gloCOM GO
When you Quit gloCOM GO, you have two options. Sign Out will completely log you out of the account and allow you to log into another account if you like. Quit will close gloCOM GO and then log you in automatically the next time you run gloCOM GO. In either case, you will no longer receive calls to gloCOM GO until you restart the app.
