Information

Many standard features for your phone system are available by dialing the star key in conjunction with a 2 or 3 digit code or by dialing a reserved code/extension.  The star codes and reserved codes are listed below.

Star Codes and Features


Feature Code Description
Voicemail
Access Voicemail *62 or 5001 Listen to Voicemail messages and change voicemail options from your phone.
Access General Voicemail 5000 Allows accessing your voicemail messages from any extension.
Follow the voice prompts to enter your extension and PIN.
Call Voicemail Directly *125 + Extension Call an extension's voicemail to leave a message.
Voicemail Transfer 7 + Extension Transfer an active call to an extension's voicemail. 
Call Forwarding
Unconditional forward(all calls)
Set Unconditional Call Forwarding with Number *72 + phone number Dial *72 plus the phone number to setup the call forwarding number and enable call forwarding to the specified phone number or extension.
Enable Unconditional Call Forwarding

Disable Unconditional Call Forwarding *73
Busy Forward (only forward when busy)
Set Busy Forward with number

Dial *41 plus the phone number to setup busy call forward to the specified phone number or extension
Enable Busy Forward *90 Enable Busy call forward to the last specified number.
Disable Busy Forward *91
No Answer Forward (forward when no answer)
Set No Answer Forward with number *42 + phone number Dial *42 plus the phone number to setup no answer call forward to the specified phone number or extension
Enable No Answer Forward *92 Enable No Answer forward to the last specified number.

Enable Do Not Disturb *78 Do not ring this extension.
Disable Do Not Disturb *79
Call Pickup
Site Pickup *34 If your system is setup with multiple sites (typically departments or buildings), you can pick the first unanswered call that is still ringing.
Extension Pickup *35<ext> Pickup a call ringing at a specific extension
Company Pickup

Pickup a call ringing anywhere.
Department Pickup

Pickup a call ringing in the same department
Self Pickup

Pickup an active call on another phone for the same user.
Call Parking
Call Park *** During a call, Park the call to allow picking up from another extension.
The system will tell you what extension to dial to pick up the call from another extension (701 to 709).
Call Park Direct *<lot> Park the call to a specific parking lot. Useful if specific parking lots are setup with failover to ring back or to voicemail.  This may also be setup as a BLF key on your phone.
Retrieve call from Park
<lot>
Dial the parking lot number of the call.  This may also be setup as a BLF key on your phone.
Call Transfer
Transfer to 4 digit extension *97<ext> During a call, dial *97 and the 4 digit extension to transfer to.  May also use the Transfer button on the phone instead of dialing *97.
Transfer to 3 digit extension *98<ext> During a call, dial *98 and the 3 digit extension to transfer to.  May also use the Transfer button on the phone instead of dialing *98.
Transfer to Self
*99
During a call, dial *99 to transfer to yourself.  Useful to pickup the call on another of your assigned phones.
Call Queue / Call Center
Login to Queue
*88
This will log you in to all queues you are assigned to.
Logout of Queue
*89
This will log you out of all queues you are assigned to.
System Tests
Test 911 933 This will read out the phone number that will be sent to the 911 operator if you call 911.
